OSCE hosts donor and assessment visit on Small Arms and Light Weapons and Explosive Hazards Management projects in Dushanbe

From 26 April to 1 May 2026, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) hosted a delegation of representatives of the Ministries of Defence of Austria and Switzerland. The donor delegation included representatives of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Defence, Directorate-General for Defence Policy, Centre for International Stabilisation, Verification and Arms Control, as well as a representative of the Swiss Federal Department of Defence. The OSCE Secretariat was represented by the Forum for Security Co-operation Projects Unit.

From 4 to 8 May 2026, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) supported the visit of four representatives of Tajikistan Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) to the Republic of Serbia to get familiarized with the work of their Serbian counterparts. The Tajikistan MIA delegation consisted of four representatives (all men) from the Office of the National Co-ordinator for Police Reform, MIA Training Centre and MIA Scientific and Research Centre
